How the course is organized:

  • This is a cohort-based course. That means you're included in a group of educators that will progress through the course alongside you.
  • It's a four-week course. All of our synchronous activities will happen during those four weeks, including:
    • Live video sessions: 60-90 minutes each (with replay available afterward)
    • Discussion forums: Interact with participants in your cohort
    • Notes: Go deeper on topics of interest
    • Resources: Use templates, teaching ideas, and more right away
  • You have lifetime access. We have no plans of taking this course down or removing your access. You'll be able to come back and rewatch videos, access resources, and view/interact in discussion forums.

Things to know about the course:

  • It's live and synchronous. The best experience is when you participate live with your cohort. That includes joining the live videos to watch, ask questions, and share ideas. That also includes interacting back and forth in the discussion forums.
  • Don't worry about falling behind. Hey, we're all busy. This course -- and all of its resources -- aren't going anywhere. All live videos have recorded replays. You don't have to participate in the discussion forums, and you can always read what everyone else says.
  • It's OK if you don't know anything about AI. We'll have a variety of skill levels when it comes to AI. If you're new to it, soak in everything you can. If you're more advanced, we'd love your leadership to share ideas that work for you.

When the course is done:

  • Generate a certificate of completion for PD credit.
  • You can go back and access anything from the course for as long as you want.
  • Check out another Ditch That Textbook online course (including several free ones!).
  • Look at the "What Now?" module at the end for additional DTT resources and training opportunities.

Have any questions? Feel free to email us at [email protected]. We're happy to help!

We're excited to work through this content alongside you in this cohort.

We'll ponder and discuss together. We'll learn together. We'll all grow as a result.

Let's get started!

If you haven't already, go introduce yourself to the cohort. We'll see you when the course starts!
